Studies
A trial with stimulation of distal lower extremity with the VST MyoDynamic® Device with concomitant tissue perfusion measurement Doppler resulted in compelling findings.
Trials were 45-60 minute episodes with the stimulator. Distal Perfusion was measured at baseline and stimulation then started. In subjects with what was thought to be a normal vascular tree, perfusion gradually increased from baseline until it reached several fold by around twenty minutes of stimulation.
Perfusion measured in this way reached 8-10 times baseline at around 35 minutes and continued at that level until 15-30 minutes after the treatment concluded.
