Secrets Will Be Revealed
A Nerve Supplement Revolution
We’re about to change the way you think about nerve pain. Once you learn some simple concepts, you will understand how Peripheral Neuropathy can be reduced or reversed in many cases and why VCARE Nerve Health Formula is different. As you read about Nerve Health Formula, you will see references to Diabetes. We only mention Diabetes specifically because it is the largest single cause of Peripheral Neuropathy. The concepts presented apply to diabetics and non-diabetics alike. Nerve Health Formula has been designed to provide the essential building blocks for proper nerve health for everyone with nerve health issues.
It is true that Diabetes is the single largest cause of Peripheral Neuropathy, but it still only accounts for about 1/3 of all cases. Nearly 1/2 of patients suffering from Neuropathy are given a diagnosis of Idiopathy or Idiopathic Neuropathy. In plain English, that means the person has nerve pain, but the Doctors can’t figure out the cause. It is unidentified. The good news is, “unidentified” doesn’t mean “untreatable” and it doesn’t have to mean prescription drugs with terrible side effects either.
VCARE provides two prescription free options. Our Nerve Health Formula is intended to provide the building blocks for proper nerve health in mild cases of Peripheral Neuropathy and to maintain nerve health. For more severe cases, or mild cases that do not respond to supplementation alone, we offer the VCARE VST Myodynamic Device. Both products are designed to help your body’s own natural healing abilities. Your body has an amazing ability to heal and even regenerate the small nerve fibers responsible for Peripheral Neuropathy. We simply create ideal conditions for your body to do its job.
Diabetes Is Not A Nerve Disease!
If you are diabetic, it’s important to understand that your insulin production–or resistance–may not be causing the pain in your feet. To be more accurate, it may not be causing it directly. Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN), in many cases, is actually coming from a secondary condition that occurs along with your diabetes: compromised micro-vascular blood flow. This is not to be confused with peripheral artery disease which compromises blood flow in the large blood vessels.
Rather, we are talking about the tiny arterioles that branch off from your arteries and further divide into the microscopic capillaries that transport oxygen and nutrients to your cells, including your nerve cells. Put in more simple terms, there is just not enough blood making it to the tiny vessels that feed the small nerves in your feet (and sometimes hands) and they are being starved of oxygen and nutrients.
Insulin Resistance Doesn’t Discriminate
Think about this: Why are you experiencing pain in your feet or hands and not your thighs or biceps, in all but the most severe cases? Does your insulin resistance only affect the hands and feet? No, the entire body is affected by the diabetes. The hands and feet, also called the “periphery”, just happen to receive the least amount of blood flow, even in people without diabetes. Diabetes interferes with the production of Nitric Oxide, the master signaling molecule responsible for blood flow. It is not the lack of insulin that does all the damage; it is the lack of blood flow!
Nitric Oxide Keeps The Blood Flowing
Nitric Oxide is the molecule that causes the smooth wall muscles in your arterioles and pre-capillary sphincters to relax. You can think of the arteriole as being like a stretchy hose that can increase in diameter and the sphincter is like a shut-off valve at the end of the hose. Relax the smooth muscle that lines the “hose” and it allows more blood to flow through, assuming the “valve” is relaxed and open as well. Constricted arterioles slow the blood flow down and constricted sphincters can stop it completely. Without Nitric Oxide available, the muscles remain constricted and the blood flow remains impaired.
Diabetes Hinders Nitric Oxide Production
You need a readily available supply of Nitric Oxide to keep the blood flowing through your arterioles and capillaries. Insulin stimulates the production of Nitric Oxide from Arginine, an Amino Acid found in most meat and dairy products as well as a few plant sources. Some people just don’t get enough Arginine in their diet. Others have conditions that block the conversion of Arginine into Nitric Oxide. This is especially true of Diabetics since the conversion relies on Insulin. Chances are, if you have Peripheral Neuropathy, you might not be producing enough Nitric Oxide!
Cells Need Blood To Survive
The cells in your body need a constant supply of blood to provide them with oxygen and nutrients. Without it, they quickly begin to die. Your brain will cease to function within minutes without blood flow. Completely cut off the blood to your hand or foot and it will kill the cells within hours, maybe less. Now imagine cutting the blood supply to your feet not completely, but by 50 or 75%. That’s just not enough to keep the cells healthy. The nerve cells in your feet or hands will start dying a very slow death. It is very similar to a plant that isn’t receiving enough water.

Why not start out with the simpler, cheaper alternative and show yourself that you are serious about treating this condition.
Capillaries Regulate Body Heat
Besides supplying nerve cells with oxygen and nutrients, capillaries also regulate body heat. The average adult has a temperature of approximately 98.6 degrees. A fluctuation of even a single degree indicates a health problem. So how does your body regulate the temperature so precisely? You probably already know that your body produces heat by converting the food you eat into fuel, but do you know the primary way it cools itself down?
Skin & Capillaries Work Like A Radiator
The majority of the thermal regulation of your body takes place in your micro-vasculature, not your sweat glands. As you heat up, the arterioles relax and the pre-capillary sphincters open up to allow blood to flow into capillaries close to the skin surface. The heat from the blood is transferred from the skin into the atmosphere. At least this is how it is supposed to work in a healthy individual. It is identical to the way a car radiator works.
When Capillaries Stop working Blood Overheats
If the blood is not let into the capillaries, the heat can not be dissipated into the atmosphere. It simply flows through the metarterioles, also known as the thoroughfare, without cooling down. This explains why temperatures in the feet of patients with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy tend to be higher. It can also explain, in some cases, the “burning sensations” they sometimes experience as well as the paradoxical situation in which the feet can feel cold. Although the blood may still be flowing through the arteries and arterioles deeper within the tissues, it is the blood flowing through the capillaries at or near the surface that warms up the epidermis or outer-most layer of skin.
Miles of Blood Vessels
Believe it or not, if you were to line all the blood vessels in the average adult end to end, they would reach about 60,000 miles. Most of them are microscopic capillaries, barely wider than a single red blood cell. In fact, there are so many capillaries, that your body does not have enough blood supply to fill them all at the same time. Your body plays a tricky balancing act, constantly moving blood around in order to supply all the cells in your body with oxygen and nutrients. When you eat, for example, blood is diverted from your skeletal muscles to your digestive system. When you exercise, the blood is diverted to the muscles you are working out, and the digestive system slows down. There is a delicate balance, even in the healthiest of people. Add in a condition like diabetes, that interferes with the processes, and the body simply can not balance blood supply with the demand. Something has to give and that “something” is usually the outer extremities, also known as the periphery.
Restore Blood Flow & Heal The Nerves
Damaged Spinal Nerves are nearly impossible to heal with current technology (although that’s changing), but peripheral nerves are a different matter. Given a sufficient supply of blood, containing oxygen and nutrients, your body has an amazing ability to repair and rebuild the small nerves out at the edges (periphery) of your body.
VCARE Nerve Health Formula
For Mild cases of Neuropathic Pain, we offer VCARE Nerve Health Formula, the most advanced nerve health supplement available. Our advanced formula provides the building blocks to both increase blood flow AND repair nerve cells. There are many Neuropathy or Nerve Health Supplements on the market; each one containing nearly identical ingredients for nerve health. Just compare the labels.
VCARE Is Different
VCARE is unlike all the other nerve health supplements on the market because it is the only one to address the issue of blood flow. If the blood is not flowing through the capillaries that feed the damaged nerves, no amount of supplementation will help them! Trying to deliver oxygen and nutrients to damaged cells without first addressing blood flow would be like trying to deliver water to California with a pipeline that stopped on the Nevada border. It’s close, but it still doesn’t solve the problem!
If we know that blood flow is critical for nerve health and we also know that Nitric Oxide production is critical for blood flow, what do we do? If we lived in a perfect world, we would cure the underlying condition that is blocking the production of Nitric Oxide or otherwise compromising the flow of blood or even damaging the nerves directly. However, we don’t live in a perfect world and there is no cure for diabetes or many of the other diseases or underlying conditions known to cause nerve damage. The best we can do is control the underlying cause or condition as well as possible, and compensate for the damage and changes it causes to our bodies.
In the case of diabetes, you can’t eliminate the condition completely, but you can minimize it through proper diet, exercise, and blood sugar regulation. You can also compensate for the key nutrients, needed for proper blood flow and nerve health, that the diabetes is blocking. You can either increase the efficiency of the nutrient delivery, increase the volume of nutrients and leave the efficiency the same, or increase both.
Here’s an analogy: If you have a drafty, poorly insulated house that you want to heat, you can either improve efficiency (with insulation and new energy efficient doors and windows), crank up the heater, or do both. Once you have increased the efficiency to the practical limits of the old house, you have no choice but to crank up the heater if you want to stay warm.
Likewise, once you have increased the efficiency of nutrient delivery to its practical limits–through diet, exercise and regulation of any disease or condition–the only choice left is to crank up the volume of nutrients to compensate for a metabolic system that no longer works at peak efficiency. You now have to supplement your diet with additional nutrients.
Arginine is the semi-essential amino acid that your body breaks down to produce Nitric Oxide, the molecule that opens up your blood vessels. It’s chemical formula is C6H14N4O2. It can be converted directly to Nitric Oxide, but metabolic/digestive processes tend to break it down before it can reach the blood stream where it is needed. Only a small percentage that is ingested reaches the blood stream intact.
Citrulline is another semi-essential amino acid, with a very similar chemical composition. It is found most abundantly in Watermelon and its chemical formula is C6H13N3O3. Your body can use it to produce Nitric Oxide, but it has to be converted to Arginine first. However, much more of it makes it to the bloodstream intact when it is ingested. Combining the two in one supplement gives two pathways to synthesize Nitric Oxide, increasing its availability.
Also called Magnesium Taurate, it is a compound of Magnesium and Taurine.
Magnesium is an essential mineral needed for over 300 known enzymatic processes and it is especially important for proper nerve health. It’s most important role in nerve health is helping to regulate calcium levels. It also has a calming effect on the nerves. Studies have shown that a high percentage of diabetics are Magnesium deficient. The symptoms of moderate to severe magnesium deficiency can include tingling and numbness, the same as peripheral neuropathy.
It’s not surprising that most Americans probably don’t get as much magnesium in their diets as they should considering the most abundant source is green, leafy vegetables! Causes of magnesium deficiency include a poor diet, alcohol abuse, and diabetes. Coincidentally, alcoholics and diabetics are two of the largest groups afflicted with Neuropathy.
Taurine is a non-essential amino acid and a very powerful antioxidant.
In a study with type II diabetic rats, taurine reversed neurological and neurovascular deficits. In another study with rats, Taurine improved hyperglycemia and dyslipidemia by reducing insulin resistance and Leptin levels. Dyslipidemia refers to an abnormal amount of lipids (e.g. cholesterol, fat) in the blood.
Vitamin D (D-3 from Cholecalciferol)
Vitamin D refers to a group of steroids that enhance the absorption of other nutrients, including calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphates and Zinc. They are fat soluble, meaning they are stored in fat or lipid cells and are more readily available to structures that are comprised largely of fats or lipids. The brain and nerves are two such structures.
The majority of Seniors are Vitamin D deficient, mostly because they stay indoors much more than the younger population. Sun exposure to the skin produces most of the available vitamin D that we use. The name, Cholecalciferol gives some hints as to the origin of the Vitamin. It is synthesized in the body naturally when Cholesterol is exposed, through the skin, to Ultraviolet radiation from the Sun.
What are two things that people have been taught to fear over the past 50 years?: Exposure to the Sun and the consumption of foods that contain Cholesterol! Both are actually needed, in moderation, for Vital metabolic processes. The problems arise when there is excessive Sun Exposure and excessive consumption of cholesterol.
R-Alpha Lipoic Acid
Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), also known as Thioctic Acid, is produced in small amounts by both plants and animals. It is bound to certain proteins that are vital to enzymatic processes occurring inside cellular mitochondria, the energy producing structures within cells. They are sometimes referred to as the cell’s powerhouse or power plant. They take in nutrients, supplied by the food and supplements that you consume, and convert them to compounds that the cell can use as energy. Muscle cells contain many mitochondria because they require a lot of energy, and nerve cells contain very few mitochondria. If nerve cells have few mitochondria to begin with, it is that much more vital that they all function at peak efficiency. If critical components for enzymatic processes are in short supply, the mitochondria can’t function at their best.
Alpha Lipoic Acid is prescribed as a treatment for Neuropathy in Germany.
Potent B Vitamins
Vitamin B-12 is found naturally in a variety of animal products, including meat, shellfish, poultry, eggs, milk, and other dairy products. While it is found in these products, it is only produced by bacteria in a type of symbiotic relationship with the animal. In nature, the vitamin is bound up in the proteins of these animal products and those proteins must be broken down, during digestion, to obtain the B-12. It is stored in the Liver, but it can become depleted if there isn’t enough available in the diet or if it is not sufficiently absorbed through the digestive system. With the exceptions of Vegetarians, most Americans eat foods that contain enough B-12 to supply their bodies. It is much more common to have B-12 deficiency as a result of malabsorption.
As we age our digestive processes become less efficient and our production of stomach acid can become weaker. The acid is needed to break down the protein, containing the B-12. The intestines can then absorb the vitamin, where it is delivered to the blood stream and made available to the cells. Anything that interferes with the production of stomach acid can reduce the production of B-12. Antacids and acid pump blockers are two examples. A deficiency can also be created if the proteins pass through the digestive system more quickly than they can be broken down or the vitamin can be absorbed. This can happen with conditions that produce chronic diarrhea. B-12 supplements do not rely on stomach acid to release the vitamin.
B-12 is a very complex molecule, with the formula C63H88CoN14O14P. The molecule is centered around a Cobalt atom, giving rise to its official name, Cobalamin (Cobalt + Vitamin). There are a few different compounds that can be used to deliver the B-12. One of the most common and cheapest forms of B-12 is Cyanocobalamin. As you might have guessed by the name, it is a compound of Cyanide (CN) and Cobalamin. It is reduced in the body to produce Cobalamin (B-12) and a very small amount of Cyanide. It is only about 2% cyanide by weight of the compound, and trace amounts of cyanide are found naturally in many foods. However, do you really want to intentionally ingest supplements that contain one of the most lethal toxins known to humans?
VCARE Nerve Health formula uses a much more expensive from of B-12 called methylcobalamin. It is a compound of a methyl group (CH3) + Cobalamin (C63H88CoN14O14P)
Vitamin B-1 (From Benfotiamine)
Benfotiamine is a synthetic derivative of Thiamine, with better biovailability. That means that the percentage of a given dose that actually reaches the blood stream unchanged is higher for Benfotiamine than for Thiamine. There is also another big advantage to Benfotiamine. It is fat soluble whereas Thiamine is water soluble. Water soluble vitamins are quickly excreted in the urine, but fat soluble vitamins are stored in fat or lipid cells and stay in the body, available for use, much longer. This is especially important because brain and nerve cells have a high percentage of fat, compared to other cells in the body.
Benfotiamine has been used in Germany as a prescription treatment for sciatica and other painful nerve conditions since 1993.
Vitamin B-2 (Riboflavin)
Riboflavin deficiency can alter iron metabolism and it is rarely found in isolation. It frequently occurs along with other water-soluble vitamin deficiencies. This typically occurs from either a diet lacking in essential vitamins or a condition that causes malabsorption.
The symptoms of riboflavin deficiency can include sore throat, cracks or sores on the outer lips and corners of the mouth, a swollen red tongue, and moist, scaly skin. In more severe cases a Riboflavin deficiency can cause visible blood vessels to appear in the normally clear cornea of the eye. It can also cause decreased red blood cell counts.
Vitamin B-6 (From Pyridoxine HCl)
Pyridoxine HCl is formed by Chemically binding a hydrochloride molecule (HCl) to Pyridoxine, the Vitamin B-6 molecule. This converts the pyridoxine to what is known in Chemistry as a salt. Most people associate the word “salt” with sodium chloride, otherwise known as table salt. However, in chemistry, a salt refers to any ionic compounds that are produced when an acid and a base are combined to neutralize each other. Table salt, for example, is the product of the chemical reaction that occurs when Sodium Hydroxide and Hydrochloric Acid are combined. Hydrochloric acid is a very strong acid, found in car batteries. Sodium Hydroxide is a strong base and the active ingredient found in most drain cleaners! Either one could be potentially deadly if they were ingested, but once they are combined, the result is harmless table salt.
Supplements and prescription medications are often converted to salts because they are generally more readily absorbed into the body. In the case of Pyridoxine, it is combined with a Hydrochloride molecule to produce a pyridoxine salt that is more readily absorbed into the intestinal tract. Once in the bloodstream, it gets reduced into Pyridoxine, the Vitamin B-6 that your body needs, and a non-reactive HCl molecule.
Vitamin B-6 is vital to
Ginger Root Extract
Ginger root has been used for centuries as an herbal medicine to treat digestive issues, nausea and inflammation. It also has an ability to dilate blood vessels, causing a warming effect in the body. It has been added to Nerve Health Formula, primarily for its ability to increase blood flow by removing free radicals and reducing inflammation in blood vessels.
Recent trials published and reviewed in the International Journal of Cardiology suggest that ginger shows considerable anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-platelet (sticky blood) potential. It has also been shown to have blood pressure and lipid (fat, cholesterol) lowering effects in in-vitro (test tube) and animal studies.
Passion Flower Herb Extract
The Passion flower is a plant native to the Americas and first discovered by Spanish Jesuits in Peru during the 17th century. The name is derived from its resemblance to the crucifixion of Christ. After its discovery by the Jesuits, it spread to Europe where it was used to treat several ailments, including restlessness, agitation, indigestion and seizures. Today, it’s commonly used to treat anxiety because it has a calming effect.
Scientists believe the calming effect of passionflower is caused by an increase in the levels of a chemical called gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. It lowers the activity of some brain cells creating the feeling of relaxation.
Artificial Blood Flow Stimulation
For Moderate to severe cases of Neuropathic Pain, we offer the VCARE VST Myodynamic Device. It is an advanced Electrical Signal Generator, designed to stimulate the muscles responsible for blood flow. Because it stimulates the muscles directly, it does not rely on the complex biochemical processes that normally have to take place to create NO which in turn stimulates blood flow.
